Looks like Emily’s bud Heather was also getting on on the Obama Cake action, check out this sweet cake:
Heather says:
I made this cake for my friend Delaney whose birthday happened to be on election day here in Chicago. We ate it and then went out to Grant Park where we cried our eyes out for joy.

I love how Sara snuck these to all her Obama loving friends, they look great!
Sara says:
I made a batch of Obama logo cupcakes the night before election day. I took some to work (I’m a teacher) and discreetly passed them along to some of my like-minded co-workers. I gave some to my landlords (also like-minded) and kept the rest to eat during the returns with friends.
Thanks Sara!

All these cupcakes make me want M&Ms so much!
Megan says:
I made these for Election night - they are vanilla cupcakes, dyed rainbow, with homemade buttercream frosting and M&M’s.
Super cute, thanks Megan!

Ok. So you guys have to click on the image to see the bigger version, because this is not one of those edible print outs. This is all ICING. Mind. Blown.

I just watched Barack’s first press conference, and I was like, “This is weird. He is speaking in full sentences and saying things that make sense”. And then I realized what a beautiful thing it is to have a smart, well spoken president, and not one who just strings random words together while squinting and looking confused.
We did it!
Jessica says:
I finished the logo at 11 PM sharp, when I threw down the icing tubes as listened to Keith Olbermann announce that Barack Obama was our next president. We did it! Mom added the text after the good news came.
Great job Jessica and Mom…thanks!

This cake makes me really happy:
Lise made this for Florencia, who became a citizen in July of this year. This was the first time she could vote as an American citizen. What an amazing time to be a first time voter!
Florencia says:
Of course I voted for Obama, and I’m very very happy with our new President!
Congrats Florencia, and thanks so much!

I like the rays in the logo of this cake. Pretty!
Suzy says:
Here is a picture of our yes we cake from election night celebrations. It’s a marble cake (get it?) with cream cheese frosting and M&Ms as the logo.
Thanks!
