Proof that Obama can work miracles - I nearly burn my house down anytime I attempt to create a meal, but somehow managed to bake and frost a Yes We Cake! (Despite the way the cake looks, I’m actually not 12.) LOL.
Don’t sell youself short, Meredith, the cake looks great! Thanks!

Ernie & Mike
I WISH I could take credit for this, but my friend Mike Smith made it for our pre-inauguration-because-it’s-a-weekend party. Standard grocery cake, but he made his own stencil and airbrushed it with food coloring (!!!). Of course, it was a chocolate cake. Ha ha ha.
So awesome guys, thanks!

Check it out…Karin not only made two very cool cheesecakes, and she included some pictures so you can do it on your own, too:

Let the constant sugar cravings begin! Ameya sent me an awesome picture of her Obama angel food cake:

In order to ‘bone up’ on energy before fighting the inaugural crowds, I thought it would be fun to make an Angel Food Obama cake. =)
Thanks Ameya!

Yay! I can’t believe in only a few more hours my Obamacita will be in office! To celebrate I have some brand new super sweet cakes, and also, check out this awesome ice cream:
Yay! Has anyone had any? I can’t find it around me. I bet it tastes like freedom and awesomeness.

This cake looks so yummy! The fact that there is booze in the shot doesn’t hurt, either.

Yay, another Thanksgiving Obama Cake! I know I was thankful for the big O this Thanksgiving, for sure.
Anali says:
As one of our desserts for Thanksgiving, my aunt brought an Obama cake from Daniel’s Bakery in Brighton Center, Massachusetts.
It was really good! But at first, nobody wanted to cut the cake, because the picture is so pretty. Well, we did get over it eventually and enjoyed the cake.
You can check out her blog, Anali’s First Amendment, here.
Thanks!
