I am crazy excited about Obama. I am also crazy excited about cakes, cookies, cupcakes and all sorts of baked goods! So I thought it would be nice and fun to spread some Obama love by baking and giving away some Obama cupcakes at McCarren Point in Greenpoint, Brooklyn this weekend.
After giving them out I looked around online and realized that I wasn’t the only one spreadin’ the Obama word via baked goods! Lots of cakey folks out there are excited for this election, excited for Obama, and excited to get the word out with good vibes and sugar. So send me your cakes! Send me your cookies! Send me your cupcakes and your tarts and whatever else you have made that was inspired by hope, change, and Barack Obama!

Dan and I ate the last Obama cupcake last night, and it made me wish for a lifelong supply of OBAMACAKES. Yay, Cake Hero!
